"DONNA" Everyone that Donna met, she touched in a special way. She was born Nov. 15, 1957, in Aurora, Ill., and passed from this life at 9:10 p.m. Friday, Jan. 4, 2008, at her home in Baton Rouge. Many remember her from the 10-plus years at University Methodist Preschool. She finished LSU with a master's degree in social work and worked for Ochsner Medical Center. Her passion was helping others. Visiting at Resthaven Funeral Home, 11817 Jefferson Highway, was on Sunday, Jan. 6, from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. Visiting at St. Jean Vianney Catholic Church on Monday from 9 a.m. until Mass at 10 a.m. Burial in Ponchatoula Cemetery, Ponchatoula, at 12:30 p.m. She is survived by her husband, Douglas Disher; son, Josh McEnany and his wife Rachael; daughter, Colleen McEnany; stepson, Lane Disher and his wife Chantell; stepdaughters, Deirdra Disher, Elaina Tircuit and her husband Brad and Marie-Lise Disher; three sisters, Anita Keener, Christina Martineck and Patricia DeVore; brother, James Doug Jones; and stepmother, Marge Jones. She was born on Thursday, June 29, 1916, in New Orleans, La., daughter of the late Edward and Emily McNulty Noonan. Mrs. Disher has been a member of St Joseph Catholic Church in Ponchatoula since 1947. Surviving are her sons & daughters-in-law, Ben and Jean Disher, Raymond and Linda Disher, Bren and Fan Disher, Don and Tina Disher; 15 grandchildren and 34 great- grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her husband, Brennan C. Disher Sr.; son, Douglas Disher; and her sister, Edwina Martinez. Friends will be received on Saturday, June 9, 2012, from 8:30 a.m. until 11 a.m. at St. Joseph Catholic Church. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Joseph Catholic Church, on Saturday, at 11 a.m. Interment will follow in the Ponchatoula Cemetery.
