DIVITTORIO, CATHERINE SCHILLACI 
A resident of Independence, she died Friday, Feb. 15, 2002, at Lallie Kemp
Regional Medical Center. She was 88 and a native of Compo Felice Roccella,
Sicily. Visitation at Harry McKneely & Son Funeral Home, Hammond, from 
6 p.m. to 10 p.m. Sunday, with a vigil service at 7 p.m. Visitation at the
funeral home from 8 a.m. to 10 a.m. Monday. Mass of Christian Burial at
Mater Dolorosa Catholic Church, Independence, at 10:30 a.m. Monday,
conducted by the Rev. Paul McDuffy. Entombment in Colonial Cemetery
Mausoleum. Survived by her daughter, Pitrina DiVittorio Graffia,
Ponchatoula; three sons, Roy J. DiVittorio, Baton Rouge, and Dan J. and
Tony J. DiVittorio, both of Independence; a brother, Salvatore Schillaci,
Compo Felice Roccella; eight grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
Preceded in death by her husband, Frank DiVittorio; parents, Diego and
Rosalia DiDominico Schillaci; three sisters, two brothers and a grand-
daughter.

DiVITTORIO, KATHERINE DENISE A resident of Independence, she died at 
6:10 p.m. Sunday, April 19, 1998, at North Oaks Medical Center, Hammond.
She was 37 and a native of Baton Rouge. Visiting at McKneely Funeral Home,
Amite, 6 p.m. to 10 p.m. Tuesday. Visiting at the funeral home, 8 a.m. to
9:40 a.m. Wednesday. Religious services at Mater Dolorosa Catholic Church,
Independence, at 10 a.m. Wednesday, conducted by the Rev. Dean Martin.
Entombment in Colonial Mausoleum. Survived by parents, Dan J. and Norma
Jean DiVittorio, Independence; a brother, Dan J. DiVittorio Jr.,
Independence; a sister, Lisa Camelo, Hammond; grandmother, Catherine
DiVittorio, Independence; two nephews, Jonathan Camelo and Damian Kinchen;
and a niece, Jessica Camelo. Preceded in death by grandfather, Frank
DiVittorio; and grandparents, Earline Hannis and Willie Hannis.
