She was 88 and a native of Compo Felice Roccella, Sicily. Visitation at Harry McKneely & Son Funeral Home, Hammond, from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m. Sunday, with a vigil service at 7 p.m. Visitation at the funeral home from 8 a.m. to 10 a.m. Monday. Mass of Christian Burial at Mater Dolorosa Catholic Church, Independence, at 10:30 a.m. Monday, conducted by the Rev. Paul McDuffy. Entombment in Colonial Cemetery Mausoleum. Survived by her daughter, Pitrina DiVittorio Graffia, Ponchatoula; three sons, Roy J. DiVittorio, Baton Rouge, and Dan J. and Tony J. DiVittorio, both of Independence; a brother, Salvatore Schillaci, Compo Felice Roccella; eight grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
