She died Sunday, Dec. 16, 2007, at North Oaks Medical Center, Hammond, after her long and courageous battle with cancer. She was 22 and a senior at Southeastern Louisiana University. She was a member of the Mission Church in Hammond. She is survived by her parents, Gary and Mary Esther Donnell; her triplet brother and sister, Paul and Sarah; her older sister and brother-in-law, Amanda and Ian Theriot; her grandmother, Marvel Bruce Donnell; and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and many friends. She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Anne and James H. Carter Sr. and Ernest C. Donnell Jr. Visitation at Greenoaks Funeral Home on Tuesday, Dec. 18, from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. Visitation resumes Wednesday, Dec. 19, from noon until service at 2 p.m. Pallbearers will be John Locascio, Marc Sampey, Kevin Phipps, Phillip Wright, Gary Renz, Zachariah Brewer, John Gaines and Nick Perere. The family wishes to thank her numerous doctors, their staffs and all who worked tirelessly with her in her struggle. A special thanks goes to Dr. Maurice King for his love and support. Donnell, 69, died Friday, Aug. 13, 2004, at her home. Born in Jackson, Miss., she was a minister and a member of Mount Sinai Covenant Chruch With God of Eastman, Ga. Survivors include her husband, the Rev. Clarence Donnell of Adrian, Ga.; seven daughters, Patricia Young and Geraldine Payne, both of Hammond, Wanda Jackson of Savanna, Ga., Cassandra L. Patton of Reddrick, Fla., Wand Walden of and Sherrie J. Donnell, both of Miami, Fla., and Latonya Donnell of Manning, S.C.; five sons, John Jackson of Fayette, N.C., Johnny Hawkins of Adrian, Patrick E. Donnell of Miami, Bobby M. Manning and Clarence E. Donnell, both of Manning; one sister, Betty Johnson of Atlanta; two brothers, James Hawkins of Columbus, Ohio, and Willie Jean Hawkins of Shreveport; 16 grand- children and 27 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, Clarence and Louise Hawkins; and one grandchild. The Rev. Willie J. Inman will conduct the funeral service Friday at 1 p.m. at Mount Sinai Covenant Church With God, Eastman, Ga., followed by burial at Eastman Cemetery.
