DORMAN, DOROTHY COWAN
Dorothy Cowan Dorman, 82, of Hammond, Louisiana, passed away Wednesday, 
December 21, 2011, at Richard Murphy Hospice House, Hammond. She was born 
on March 10, 1929, in Jackson, Miss., daughter of the late Clifford and 
Dora Dunn Cowan.  Surviving are two sons, Billie R. Dorman and James M.
Dorman; two daughters, Jarlene D. Perrilloux, and Bobbie D. Jordan; 10 
grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.  She is preceded in death by 
her husband, Jarvis Dorman, and two brothers, Roscoe and Clifford Cowan, 
Jr.  Friends will be received Thursday, Dec. 22, 2011 from 1 p.m. until 
2 p.m. at Harry McKneely & Son in Hammond. Interment will follow at a later 
date in Greenlawn Cemetery, Hammond.  Memorial donations may be made to the 
Richard Murphy Hospice Foundation, 16013 Halbert Rd., Hammond, LA 70403.

DORMAN, SHIRLEY DREWETT 
Funeral Services for Shirley Drewett Dorman, 62, were Thursday, March 9,
form St. Joseph Catholic Church. Burial was in Sandhill Cemetery under the
direction of Harry McKneely and Son Funeral Home. Mrs. Dorman died Friday,
March 3, in East Jefferson Hospital. She was a Ponchatoula native, a former
employee of East Jefferson Hospital, and a member of St. Joseph Catholic
Church. Survivors are her husband, John L. Dorman Sr; three sons, John L.
Dorman Jr. of Ponchatoula, Michael Dorman of Goodbee, and Darren Dorman Sr.
of Hammond; a daughter, Mary Ann Woodall of Ponchatoula; her father,
Bertice Drewett of Mandville; two sisters, Doris Guidry of Covington and
Linda Truebel of Mandeville; and six grandchildren.
