DOSS, BEVERLY ANN RECATTO
Beverly Ann Recatto Doss, age 62, a resident of Killian, passed away on
Thursday, September 11, 2008 at her home.  She is survived by her husband,
Thomas J. Doss; daughter, Treci Morgan of Killian; daughter & son-in-law,
Usa & Darryl Laurent of Killian; son & daughter-in-law, Beaux & Michelle
Recatto of Poplarville, MS.  She left behind 8 grandchildren, Tymbra
Recatto of Killian, Dustin & Rachel Bridgers of French Settlement, Devin
Jordan of Killian, Daniel Laurent of Killian, Dallas Laurent of Killian,
Samantha Recatto of Poplarville, MS, Sarah Recatto of Poplarville, MS.
Preceding her in death are her father, Henry Killen; mother, Alma J. Gay; 
2 brothers, Henry "Buddy" Killen, Kenneth Congolton; nephew, Joe
Guileyardo.  Visitation will be Sunday, September 14, 2008, at Harry
McKneely & Son Funeral Home, Hammond from 10:00 am until the funeral
service begins at 2:00 pm. in the funeral home chapel.  Interment will
follow in the Wetmore Cemetery, Ponchatoula.  An on-line Guestbook is

DOSS, EDWIN HAROLD JR. "DANG-DANG" 
A resident of Independence, he died Sunday, Nov. 11, 2001, at North Oaks
Medical Center, Hammond. He was 73 and a native of Leona Mines, Va.
Visitation was at Harry McKneely & Son Funeral Home, Hammond, from 6 p.m.
to 10 p.m. Monday. Visitation at the funeral home from 8 a.m. to 10:30 a.m.
Tuesday. Religious services at Zion Hill Baptist Church, Tickfaw, at 
11 a.m. Tuesday, conducted by the Rev. Jeffrey Hathorn and the Rev. Errol
Faust. Interment in Zion Hill Baptist Church Cemetery. Survived by his
wife, Lillian Sutphin Doss, Independence; five daughters, Patricia
Muscarello, Independence, Jean Viars, Wytheville, Va., Martha Nicosia, St.
Bernard, Linda Palermo, Hammond, and Barbara Morgan, Independence; a son,
Danny K. Doss, Ozark, Ala.; two brothers, Stanley Doss, Hammond, and Robert
Doss, Christianburg, Va.; two half-brothers, Harry and David Doss, both of
New Orleans; 17 grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren, three stepgrand-
children and four stepgreat-grandchildren. Preceded in death by his
parents, Edwin and Alma Scarbrough Doss; and an infant sister.
