DOTY, BETTY JUNE BOOTY EDWARDS 
Kentwood - Betty June Booty Edwards Doty, 52, died Friday, Jan. 9, 2004 at 
North Oaks Medical Center, Hammond. The former mail carrier was a native of 
Tylertown, Miss. and a resident of Kentwood. She is survived by her husband, 
Thomas Doty of Kentwood; one daughter, Tasha Edwards Tate of Kentwood; one 
son, Shane Doty of Kentwood; her parents, Jewel Clyde Booty Sr. and Idell 
Peek Edwards and James Wallace Edwards of Kentwood; two brothers, Jewel 
Clyde Booty Jr. of Kentwood and Chris Booty of Slaughter; three sisters, 
Anita Esch of McComb, Miss., Melissa McAndrew of Baton Rouge and Jewel 
Lynn Booty of Jackson; and one grandchild. Visitation will be Monday at 
St. Elizabeth Catholic Church, Kentwood from 9 a.m. until religious 
services conducted by Rev. Jack Nutter begin at 10 a.m. Burial will be in 
Woodland Cemetery, Kentwood. In lieu of flowers, memorial contribtutions 
may be made to the National Arbor Day Foundation.

DOTY, CATHERINE C. 
A resident of Kentwood, she died at 12:05 a.m. Thursday, June 3, 1999, at
her home. She was 75 and a native of Franklin. Visiting at St. Elizabeth
Catholic Church, Kentwood, 8 a.m. Friday until religious services at 
10 a.m., conducted by the Rev. Jack Nutter. Interment in Woodland Cemetery,
Kentwood. Survived by her husband, Warren C. Doty Sr., Kentwood; a
daughter, Jessie D. Hilbun, Kentwood; four sons, Patrick J. Lambeth, New
Orleans, Warren C. Doty Jr., Broussard, Richard P. Doty and Thomas J. Doty,
both of Kentwood; and 14 grandchildren. Preceded in death by her father,
John E. Cambre Sr.; mother, Marie Blanche Froisy Cambre; a brother, John E.
Cambre Jr.; a son, Elvin Jack Lambeth Jr.; and two granddaughters, Jessie
and Rebekah Doty. McKneely Funeral Home, Kentwood, in charge of
arrangements.

A resident of Broussard, he died at 10 a.m. Monday, May 27, 2002, in
Broussard. He was 45 and a native of Franklin. Visitation at St. Elizabeth

10 a.m., conducted by the Rev. Jack Nutter. Interment in Woodland Cemetery,
Kentwood. Survived by his father, Warren C. Doty Sr., Kentwood; a sister,

DOTY, WARREN CHARLES, SR.
A resident of Kentwood, he died at 7:40 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 2, 2011, at 
his home. He was 87, born March 7, 1924, in Patterson. He was a U.S. Army 
veteran of World War II and a member of St. Elizabeth Catholic Church in 
Kentwood. He is survived by a daughter, Jessie Doty Hilbun, Kentwood; three 
sons, Patrick John Lambeth, Maryville, Tenn., Richard Paul Doty and Thomas 
Joseph Doty, both of Kentwood; two sisters, Carolyn Doty Anderson, 
Patterson and Dolores Doty Hahn, Franklin; a brother, Clarence Henry Doty 
Jr., Canton, Texas; 14 grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren. 
Preceded in death by his wife, Catherine Cambre Doty; son, Warren Charles 
Doty Jr.; two granddaughters, Tessie Lynn Doty and Rebekah Leigh Doty; 
daughter-in-law, Betty Booty Doty; parents, Clarence and Jessie Doty; and a 
sister, Iris Doty. Visitation at McKneely Funeral Home, Kentwood, on 
Saturday, Nov. 5, from 8 a.m. until religious service at 10 a.m. Interment 
in Woodland Cemetery, Kentwood. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions
