DOWDY, EDWARD
Edward Dowdy, 87, of Albany, La., passed away Thursday, June 14, 2012, at 
North Oaks Medical Center.  Edward was born on Monday, May 25, 1925, in 
Boyd Co., Kentucky.  Surviving are his wife of 60 years, Lynrose Gautreaux 
Dowdy; daughter, Kathryn Landry; grandchildren, Travis, Danny and Crystal; 
and great-grandchildren, Hannah and T.J.  He is preceded in death by his 
son, David E. Dowdy; parents, Hubert Dowdy and Lucy Fannin Dowdy; and son-
in-law Robert Parsons.  Services will be held at St. Margaret Queen of 
Scotland Catholic Church, Wednesday, June 20, at 10 a.m.  An on-line guest
