DOZIER, ROSAMAE
Rosamae Dozier, home maker died on Saturday, August 2, 2008 at 12:49 a.m.
at her residence at the age of 78. A native of Avoyelles and a resident of
Ponchatoula, LA.  Visitation at H. C. Alexander Funeral Home in Norco on
Monday, August 4, 2008 from 10:00 a.m. until time of funeral service at
1:00 p.m. Burial will follow in the Jefferson Memorial Gardens in St. Rose.
Survivors include sons Robert and wife Kathy of Simmesport; Dennis Sr. and
wife Cynthia of Destrehan; James Jr. and wife Deborah of LaPlace and Toby
and wife, Linda of Ponchatoula. Daughters Elaine Babin of Houma, Shirley
Bordelon of New Iberia and Tammy Dozier of New Sarpy. Brother Jay Hartley
of Avoyelles Parish, LA., Sisters Margie Lemoine of Avoyelles Parish, LA;
Dorothy Johnson of Ponchatoula.  She is also survived by sixteen
grandchildren, thirty-one great-grandchildren and five great, great
grandchildren.  Rosamae was preceded in death by her Husband James Dozier
Sr., Parents Milton and Julia Bowman Hartley; Sister Katie Kimble and
son-in-law, Dean Babin and Junior Bordelon of Simmesport.  She enjoyed
sewing, ceramics and crocheting. She enjoyed cooking for her family.
