He was 61. He was a U.S. Army veteran of the Vietnam War. Visiting at Harry McKneely & Son Funeral Home, Hammond, from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m. Tuesday and after 8 a.m. Wednesday. Religious services at the funeral home chapel at 1 p.m. Wednesday, conducted by Brother Marshall Wallace. Interment in Briar Patch Cemetery, Loranger. Survived by his wife, Mary G. Drew, Independence; three daughters, Glenda Prine, Tickfaw, Denise Bryant, Independence, and Doris Crafton, Baptist; two sons, James Dismore, Uneedus, and Bennie Dismore, Pensacola, Fla.; nine grandchildren; a sister, Doris Hughes, Independence; and a brother, Carleton "C.W."
