DRISCOLL, ROBERT A. 
Panama City, Fla. - Robert A. Driscoll died Thursday, Nov. 13, 2003, at Bay
Medical Center, Panama City. A retired Navy Master Chief and Master Diver,
he spent a total of 32 years in service. He has been awarded the Asiatic
Pacific Campaign Medal, American Campaign Medal, National Defense Service
Medal, World War II Victory Medal, United Nations Service Medal, Good
Conduct Medal with seven Bronze Stars and The Navy Occupation Medal. A life
member of Veterans of Foreign Wars Post No. 10555, he was also a life
member of AmVets Post 47, life member of FRA Post 346 and a member of
American Legion Post 362, all posts located in Panama City. He is survived
by his wife, Maryann M. Driscoll; four sons, Stephen Dricoll of Hammond;
Army Maj. Shawn T. Driscoll of Mannheim, Germany, and Robert and Stanley
Driscoll of Panama City; two daughters, Laura Ann Sexton of Cary, N.C., and
Loretta Ann Dean of Yokota, Japan; one brother, John Driscoll of
Germantown, Tenn.; and 12 grandchildren. He was preceded in death by one
daughter, Patricia Jean Driscoll; his parents, Mr. and Mrs. James T.
Driscoll; and one brother, James Driscoll. Visitation is today at
Southernland Family Funeral Home, Panama City, from 6 p.m. until 9 p.m.
with a rosary to be said at 7 p.m. The funeral with full military honors
will be Monday at St. Bernadette Catholic Church, Panama City, at 11 a.m.
with Rev. O'Shea officiating. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to
St. Bernadette Church Building Fund.
