She was a native of New Iberia. She is survived by one daughter, Marion Robertson of Hammond; five sons, John Henry Provost, Burnell and Donald Dudley, both of Hammond; Clarence Dudley of New Iberia, and Albert Provost of Independence; three sisters, Geraldine Terrel of Los Angeles, Calif.; Jessie Jackson of New Orleans, and Margaret Northinton of Las Vegas; three brothers, Whitney Day of Calif.; Robert Sparks of Hammond, and Gerald Sparks of Calif.; 20 grandchildren; 22 great- grandchildren; and 10 great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a son, Roosevelt Brown; daughter, Mary Jane Provost Saucier; and her parents, Elijah Provost and Mary Johnson Sparks; and her husband, Burnell Dudley Sr. The Rev. L.T. Maryland will conduct the funeral Friday at 7 p.m. at Lincoln Park Baptist Church, Hammond. Burial will be in Greenlawn Cemetery, Hammond. N.A.
