DUDLEY, BESSIE MAE 
Bessie Mae Dudley, 76, died Friday, February 28, 2003, at North Oaks
Medical Center, Hammond. She was a native of New Iberia. She is survived by
one daughter, Marion Robertson of Hammond; five sons, John Henry Provost,
Burnell and Donald Dudley, both of Hammond; Clarence Dudley of New Iberia,
and Albert Provost of Independence; three sisters, Geraldine Terrel of Los
Angeles, Calif.; Jessie Jackson of New Orleans, and Margaret Northinton of
Las Vegas; three brothers, Whitney Day of Calif.; Robert Sparks of Hammond,
and Gerald Sparks of Calif.; 20 grandchildren; 22 great- grandchildren; and
10 great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a son, Roosevelt
Brown; daughter, Mary Jane Provost Saucier; and her parents, Elijah Provost
and Mary Johnson Sparks; and her husband, Burnell Dudley Sr. The Rev. L.T.
Maryland will conduct the funeral Friday at 7 p.m. at Lincoln Park Baptist
Church, Hammond. Burial will be in Greenlawn Cemetery, Hammond. N.A. James
Funeral Home, Hammond, is in charge.

DUDLEY, INEZ 
Marrero - Inez Dudley, 91, died Sunday, June 9, 2002, at her home. She is
survived by nieces and nephews. The Rev. Donald Bell will conduct the
funeral Saturday at 11 a.m. at New Life Outreach Ministry, Hammond. Burial
will be in Greenlawn Cemetery. N.A. James Funeral Home, is in charge.

DUDLEY, SAM 
Ponchatoula - Sam Dudley, 89, died Friday, July 27, 2001, at St. Tammany
Parish Hospital. He was a native of Amite and a retired lumber grader. He
is survived by his wife, Mary Fairley Dudley; two daughters, Patricia
Coleman of Hammond and Carolyn Charleston of Ponchatoula; two sons, Larry
Charleston of Atlanta and Michael Charleston of Ponchatoula; one sister,
Jessie Rheams of New Orleans; 20 grandchildren and nine great-grand-
children. He was preceded in death by his parents, Voilet and Jessie
Dudley; one brother, Hurleert Dudley; and one sister, Dellia Jackson.
Visitation will be today from 4 to 7 p.m. at Oak Grove Church of Christ
Holiness, and the Rev. John Burris will conduct the funeral at 7 p.m.
Dismissal will be Thursday at 10 a.m. Burial will be in Holly Gardens
Cemetery, Hammond. N.A. James Funeral Home, Hammond, is in charge.
