Survivors include his wife, Myrtle Reid Duhe; a daughter, Dian Duhe Goodyear; six sisters, Doris Kollman, Electa Copponex, Gertie Millet, Betty Oswald, Julia Sanchez and Elva Gagliano; a brother, Milton Duhe; a step-sister, Alice Copponex; and a granddaughter. His parents, Claude and Electa Borne Duhe, preceded him in death as did five brothers, Kramer, Norman, Allen, Lester and Claude "C.J." Duhe; and a sister, Odelia Louque. Loving husband and father; Lionel passed away Saturday August 4, 2012, at his residence. He was born on Dec. 14, 1960, in New Orleans. Lionel grew up in Loranger and was a resident of Ponchatoula. Lionel recently achieved Captain for United Airlines and enjoyed his career tremendously. He also enjoyed playing golf, fishing, hunting and watching the LSU Tigers. Loranger - Lionel B. Duhe Sr., 75, died Monday, Oct. 29, 2001, in an automobile accident in Loranger. He was born in New Orleans. He was a U.S. Army veteran of World War II serving in the Pacific Theater and worked briefly at Illinois Central Railroad as a machinist. He was retired from Metropolitian Life Insurance Co. and was also a pecan orchard owner.
