DUMANS, GERALDINE LIZZIE JAMES
Kentwood -- Geraldine Lizzie James Dumans, 80, died Friday, Aug. 27, 2004,
at her home.  A Mississippi native, she was a housewife.  She is survived
by one daughter, Sophia Swanson of Chicago; three sons, Joseph Armstrong of
Dallas, Gene James of Phoenix and the Rev. John Armstrong of Kentwood; one
brother, Ben James of Natchez, Miss.; 13 grandchildren, eight great-grand-
children and seven great-great-grandchildren.  Her husband, her parents,
four sisters, three brothers, three grandchildren and one great-grandchild,
preceded her in death. Visitation will be Wednesday at Angelic Funeral
Home, Roseland, from 1 to 6 p.m. The Rev. Joshua Brown will conduct the
funeral Thursday at Greater Temple Chapel Baptist Church at 11 a.m.
Burial will be at Hope Cemetery, Kentwood.
