She was 27 years old. She is survived by her husband, Eddie Buie, of Hammond; mother, Lisa Manzella Duplaisir, of St. Amant; father, Daniel Roy Duplaisir Jr.; two daughters, Alyssa and Kelsey Ridgell; son, Damien Ridgell; brother, Daniel Roy Duplaisir III; two step-brothers, Sonny and Joseph DePaula; maternal grandfather, John Manzella; paternal grandparents, Daniel Roy Duplaisir Sr. and Carol O'Regan Duplaisir; as well as numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins. Preceded in death by her maternal grandmother, Nellie Ann Locicero Manzella; and paternal grandmother, Diane Cleary Albarado. A visitation will be held at Trinity Baptist Church in Hammond on Tuesday, April 17, 2012 from 10 a.m. until funeral services at 12 p.m., conducted by the Rev. Derek Wall. Burial will follow in Rose Memorial Park Cemetery, Hammond. Pallbearers will be Daniel Roy Duplaisir III, Jan Sanders, Sonny DePaula, Bradley Scott Ridgell, Dustin Kelley, and James "Jimmy" Locicero.
