DUPLECHAN, EVELYN STRICKLAND
A resident of Stone Mountain, Ga., died on Friday, April 27, 2012, at Stone 
Mountain Estates Assisted Living Center in Stone Mountain, Ga. She was born 
August 21, 1926, in New Orleans, La., and was 85 years of age.  Visitation 
at McKneely Funeral Home, Amite, from 6 p.m. until 9 p.m. on Tuesday and 
from 8 a.m. until Religious Services at 10 a.m. Wednesday.  Services 
conducted by Rev. Michael McNamara. Interment Arcola-Roseland Cemetery, 
Arcola, La.  Survived by, 2 sons, James Truett Strickland and wife, Laura, 
Drue William Strickland and wife Elaine both of Atlanta, GA, 3
grandchildren.  Preceded in death by husband Glen Truett Strickland, 
parents, Emmett and Lorena Day, 2 brothers, 2 sisters, and 2 nephews.
