A native of Pointe Au Chene and resident of the area, Dupre, a homemaker, is survived by sister Dorina Jervais of Independence and four brothers, Lenais and Alcee Dupre of Pointe Au Chene, Freddie Dupre of Marrero and Emery Dupre of Grand Calliou. Emily Dupre was preceded in death by her parents, Andre and Julia Neil Dupre; three sisters, Cynthia Dupre, Agnes Rodrigue and Delma LeBouef; and two brothers, Paul and Leroy Dupre. A graveside service was scheduled for Saturday at Ford Cemetery. She was born on Sunday, July 17, 1932, in Amite. Surviving are husband, Roland James Dupre; daughters & sons-in-law, Lydia and Thomas Higgerson, and Charee and Kenneth Parker; son & daughter-in-law, Michael and Kathy Davis; 7 grandchildren, Michael Donovon Davis and wife Elizabeth, Terra Riley and husband Brian, Chantell Davis, Aaron Davis, and Raquel, Kyle and Sarah Parker; 6 great- grandchildren, Skyler Davis, Michael Tristin Davis, Ethan Riley, Holley Hughes, Melissa Wall, and Brock Stoctzner; sister, Ethel Wust and brothers, Charlie Watts, Wallace Watts and Danny Sharp. She is preceded in death by her parents, Wallace Watts and Cordie Idonia RogersWatts Sharp, and sister, Ester Mae Berthelot. Friends will be received Sunday, February 26, 2012 from 6 p.m. until 9 p.m. at Harry McKneely & Son Funeral Home in Ponchatoula. Visitation will continue on Monday, Feb. 27, 2012, at St. Joseph Catholic Church from 9 a.m. until a mass of Christian burial at 11 a.m. Interment will follow in the Ponchatoula Cemetery.
