He was a past master of Baker Masonic Lodge 441, member of Pine Grove Masonic Lodge 288, past monarch of Royal Arch, monarch of Al-Azar Grotto and captain of its Bee Patrol and a past patron of Hope Villa chapter of Order of the Eastern Star.
