She was a longtime member of Faith Baptist Church, Baker, and a member of Macedonia Baptist Church, Holden. Visitation at Seale Funeral Home, Livingston, on Thursday, April 28, from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. Visitation resumes at the funeral home chapel Friday, April 29, from 10 a.m. until funeral service at 11 a.m., conducted by Brother Roger Dunlap. Burial in Housley Family Cemetery, Amite. Survived by her husband, Scott Hilton Dyess; daughters, Bobbie Sheryl and husband James Murphy Housley, and Nancy Lynn Ramsey and her fiancˇ, Billy Courville; son and daughter-in-law, Terry Scott and Susan Marie Dyess; sister, Polly Turan; brother, Leroy Loper; six grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren and a great-great-grandchild.
