Wayne was a building contractor most of his life and worked with the Housing Authority of Baton Rouge and Ascension Parish Public Works. He retired in February 2005. Wayne served his country in the Louisiana National Guard in the early '60s. Wayne loved life and enjoyed a good day on the water. He loved working in the yard and was known as this state's best "stump burner." Wayne enjoyed camping with friends and cruising the Caribbean. He was loved and will be greatly missed by his family and friends. He was retired from security at Exxon. He served his country as a paratrooper in the 101st Airborne Division during World War II. She was a homemaker and a babysitter at the skating rink for nearly every kid in south Louisiana and Mississippi.
