She was 82. Visiting was at Richardson Funeral Home, Amite, from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 13. Funeral service was at Mount Canaan Baptist Church, Roseland, at 11 a.m. Friday, Jan. 14, conducted by the Rev. Robert Earl Robertson. Interment was in Mount Canaan Cemetery, Roseland. She is survived by two sisters, Mavis Dyson, Milwaukee, and Joyce E. Haynes, Gloster, Miss.; and two brothers, the Rev. Wardell Dyson Sr. and Luther Dyson, both of Kentwood. She was preceded in death by her parents, Luther and Evie Dyson; and two brothers, Clifford and John Dyson. ***************************************************************************
