"BILL" A retired operator at Ethyl Corp., he died at 3 p.m. Monday, July 1, 2002, at Belle Maison Nursing Home in Hammond. He moved from Baton Rouge to Hammond in 1985 to live with his daughter, Eileen. He was 89 and a native of Lafayette. He is survived by three daughters, Kathleen Smith and husband Arthur, Baton Rouge, Eileen Johnson and husband Larry, Hammond, and Colleen Dickerson and husband Richard, Walker; two sons, Gerald and wife Elizabeth, Houston, and Ashton Paul and wife Kathryn, Baton Rouge; 12 grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren. Preceded in death by his wife, Madeleine Landry; an infant daughter, Delores; and three sisters, Neva Cutrer, Mae Haacks and Mildred Eastin. Pallbearers will be his grandsons. Visiting was at Rabenhorst Funeral Home East, 11000 Florida Blvd., from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. Tuesday. Visiting at the funeral home from 10 a.m. until religious service at 1 p.m. Wednesday, conducted by the Rev. Hung Viet "Joseph" Nguyen. Interment in Roselawn Memorial Park. He was a member of St. Anthony Catholic Church. ********************************************************************************
