Andrew Arnold Egnew Jr., of Slidell, La. passed away at his home on Saturday, March 24, 2012. Beloved Husband of Theta Holston Egnew. Preceded in death by his parents, Anna Mercier Egnew and Andrew Arnold Egnew, Sr. Father of Dawn Allen(Glen), Rev. Armond Egnew(Lisa), Kim Alack (Joe), Andrew Arnold Egnew, III,(Linda), Lisa Cannino, Aaron Egnew (Cristy), and Darron Egnew. Brother of Joyce Ann Kupper(Killian), Emmet Egnew(Nancy) and the late Robert Jules Egnew. Also survived by numerous grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren. A native of Ponchatoula, La. and a longtime resident of Slidell. He was a retired State Probation and Parole Officer. He was a member of the American Camellia Society, Gulf Coast Camellia Society, Slidell Camellia Club, New Orleans Camellia Club. He was an American Camellia Society Judge Emeritus.
