A resident of Ponchatoula, he was born Saturday, April 30, 1932, and died Wednesday, Jan. 26, 2005. He was 72 and a telephone equipment installer. Visiting at Harry McKneely and Son Funeral Home, Hammond, from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. Friday, Jan. 28. Funeral service at Harry McKneely and Son Funeral Home, Hammond, at 10 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 29, conducted by the Rev. Joel Hynes and the Rev. Glenn Fendelson. Interment in Ponchatoula Cemetery. He is survived by his wife, Barbara Gray Eleser; a son, Brian D. Eleser, Ponchatoula; two daughters, Cheryl A. Eleser, Jefferson, and Karen D. Eleser, Ponchatoula; three brothers, Louis Peter Eleser, Hammond, Carey Simon Eleser, Slidell, and Richard J. Eleser, Ponchatoula; two sisters, Lois Newman Drury, Hammond, and Deanna Piediscalzo, Ponchatoula; and two grandsons, Justin Eleser and Kyle Eleser, both of Ponchatoula. He was preceded in death by his parents, Louis and Susie Robbins Eleser; and a sister, Joyce Eleser Perrin. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Pentecostals of Ponchatoula, P.O. Box 1845, Ponchatoula, LA 70454, or to North Oaks Hospice, 15790 Paul Vega Drive, Hammond, LA 70455. "R.J." A resident of Hammond, he died Sunday, March 14, 2004 at his home. He was 58 and a native of Ponchatoula. Mass of Christian Burial at Holy Ghost Catholic Church at 10 a.m. Tuesday, celebrated by a Dominican priest. Interment in Rose Memorial Cemetery.
