ELFERT, WHITNEY JOSEPH
Whitney Joseph Elfert Jr. passed away on Thursday, February 22, 2007 at
5:20 PM. Age 83 years. Beloved husband of the late Mildred Ann Gourgues
Elfert. Loving father of Whitney J. Elfert III and Arlene E. Anzalone.
Brother of Sherman Elfert, Rodger Elfert and Rita E. Krieger. Grandfather
of 13 and great-grandfather of 9. He was a native of Raceland, former
resident of New Orleans and St. Bernard Parish and resident of Hammond
since 1986. He was a retired pressman from Simmons Press.  Relatives and
friends are invited to attend the Funeral Mass at Greenwood Funeral Home
Chapel, (Formerly All Faiths)(486-0880) 5200 Canal Blvd. New Orleans, LA,
on Tuesday, February 27, 2007 at 1:00 PM. Interment will follow in
Greenwood Cemetery. Visitation will begin at 11:00 AM.  To view or sign the
