Born in Tickfaw on November 27, 1916, to the late Frank and Rosalie (di Giacomo) Galladora, Katie was kind and loving to all. Surviving are son Dennis, sisters Lena Notariano, Jean Christenson, and Mary Anderson, and many nieces and nephews. Katie is preceded in death by her husband Leon Ellzey, sisters Francis Appuzzo and Rosalie Pisciotta, and brothers Joe, Fred, Frank, and Manuel Galladora. Friends will be received on Wednesday, June 19, 2013, at Our Lady of Pompeii Catholic Church in Tickfaw from 9:00am until Mass of Christian burial at 11:00am. Internment will follow in the Tickfaw Catholic Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Our Lady of Pompeii Catholic Church.
