ELSTON, JOHN IRVIN
DeRidder - John Irvin Elston, 65, died Wednesday, July 18, 2001, at Louisiana 
State University Medical Center, Shreveport.  He was a member of Third Street 
Church of Christ in DeRidder.  Survivors include brothers, Steve Elston of 
Loranger and Alfred Elston of Hobbs, N.M., and two sisters, Irene Elston of 
DeRidder and Annie Franks of Merryville.  Visitation will be today from 6 to 
8 p.m. at Myers-Colonial Funeral Home, and Saturday from 8 a.m. until the 
funeral at 10. Bob Coburn and David McReynolds will conduct the service. Burial 
will be in Newlin Cemetery, Singer.
