ELZY, CURTIS
Kentwood - Curtis Elzy, 73, died Wednesday, Feb. 13, 2002, at North Oaks Medical 
Center, Hammond. He is survived by one son, Eugene Hudson of San Francisco; five 
sisters, Leevester Hookfin and Katie Alexander, both of San Francisco, Lillie V. 
Elzy of Oakland, Calif., Janice Perry of Marshall, Texas, and Flo Hookfin of 
Kentwood; one brother, Hollis Elzy of Kentwood; and three grandchildren. He was 
preceded in death by his parents, Otis and Alberta Elzy; one sister, Alice 
Gordon; and one brother, Otis Elzy Jr.  Visitation will be Friday at Richardson 
Funeral Home, Amite, from 5 to 9 p.m. The Rev. Lee Allen Pounds Jr. will conduct 
the funeral Saturday at Sweethome Baptist Church, Kentwood, at 1 p.m. Burial 
will be in the church cemetery.

ELZY, OTIS JR. 
Kentwood - Otis Elzy Jr., 60, died Thursday, May 24, 2001, at his home. The Rev. 
Ray Jackson will conduct the funeral Saturday at 2 p.m. at Oak Grove Methodist 
Church, and burial will be in Hope Cemetery.  Crain and Sons Funeral Home, 
Franklinton, is in charge.
