EMERY, NELL BUCHANAN
New Orleans - Nell Buchanan Emery, 94, died Monday, July 17, 2000.  She was a 
1925 graduate of Florida State University, past president and co-founder of the 
Louisiana Society for Horticultural Research, past president of the Louisiana 
Bromelia Society and the New Orleans Garden Society and member of Baker's Dozen 
Investment Club and the Orleans Club.  She is survived by five grandchildren.
Her husband, Robert Lee Emery Jr., and two sons, Robert Lee Emery III and Arthur 
Buchanan Emery, preceded her in death.  Visitation will be at Lake Lawn Metairie 
Funeral Home, Metairie, Saturday from 10 a.m. until the funeral at 11 a.m. 
Burial will be in Metairie Cemetery.
