ENGRAM, CARTHON, JR.
Carthon Engram, Jr., 73 of Hammond, died June 23, 2009. He was an installer
technician and a veteran.  He is survived by wife Eleris Butler Engram as
well as two daughters and five sons. Daughters are Crystal Engram of
Hammond, LA and Paulette Jackson of Hammond, LA. Sons are Carl Engram of
Hammond, LA; David Engram of Altanta, GA; Gralyn Engram of Hammond, LA;
Kevin Engram of Hammond, LA; and Derek Engram of Hammond, LA.  He is also
survived by one sister, Alice Faye Engram-Hammed-Gormon of Gaynesville, FL;
and two brothers: Jimmie Engram of New York and Bobby Engram of
Jacksonville, FL. He is also survived by 18 grandchildren and 17 great
grandchildren.  He is preceded in death by parents Carthon Engram, Sr. and
Lottie Mae Engram; sister Maggie Engram; brother Ronnie Engram; Grandson
Koby Engram; and nephew Kyle Engram.  Visitation is Friday, June 26, 2009
at Richardson Funeral Home in Hammond, from 5-8 p.m. The funeral will be 
11 a.m. Saturday, June 27, 2009, at St. James A.M.E. in Hammond. The
officiating Minister is Rev. John Burris. Interment will be in Holly Garden
Cemetery.
