He was born Monday, July 27, 1925 in Center, Texas, son of the late Charlie and Minnie Green Enmon. Mr. Enmon was a US Army Veteran on WW II having received the Purple Heart, Bronze Star and numerous other accommodations. He also, was a fifty year member of the Shelbyville Masonic Lodge and a 32nd degree Shriner in Tyler, Texas. Surviving are his wife, Wanda Askew Enmon and son, Tom Enmon; 3 daughters, Loren Enmon, Lesa Enmon, Lynn E. Marino; step-son, David Lout; step-daughter, Diana Bellard; 14 grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces & nephews. He was preceded in death by first wife, Wanda Arnett Enmon; two brothers, Whimpy and Dick Enmon; two sisters, Verna Alexander and Edith Jones. Friends will be received Sunday, December 3, 2006 at Harry McKneely & Son Funeral Home in Ponchatoula from 5:00 pm until 7:00 pm and on Monday, December 4, 2006 at Watson & Sons Funeral Home in Center, Texas from 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm and on Tuesday, December 5, 2006 from 8:00 am until 10:00 am. Services will be held at Watson and Sons Funeral Home, Tuesday, December 5, 2006 at 10:00 am. Interment will follow in the Oak Lawn Cemetery, in Center, Texas. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Texas Masonic Retirement Center, 1501 West Division, Arlington, Texas 76012 or the Shriners Hospitals for Children, 815 Market St., Galveston, Texas 77550.
