She was 56. Visiting at Cedar Grove Church of God in Christ on Saturday, Feb. 25, from 9:30 a.m. until religious service at 11 a.m., conducted by Elder Shannon. Interment in Beech Grove United Methodist Church Cemetery, Clinton. Survived by mother, Sammie Wilson, Pride; daughter, Silvette Ennis; three sisters and three brothers, all of Baton Rouge, and two grandchildren. Preceded in death by father, Frank Wilson Sr.; and sister, Rose Mary Wilson. Jannie C. Ennis, 90-years-old, died August 12, 2006, at 11 a.m. A native of Tangipahoa Parish, she resided in Hammond. She was a member of the Cloverleaf Chapter Order of Eastern Star. Visitation will be today from 3 to 8 p.m. at Macedonia Baptist Church, Hammond. Dr. Moses Gordon II will conduct the funeral Saturday at 1 p.m., and burial will follow at Mount Canaan Cemetery, Arcola. She is survived by two daughters, Joyce Marie Wesly (Carl) and Charlene Ennis-Kelly; one sister, Cora Bell Evans; four grandchildren and one great-grandchild. Her husband, Edward E. Ennis; and one sister, Ruby L.
