Dorothy B. Entrikin passed away Monday, November 11, 2013 at the age of 92. She was a native of Ponchatoula and a longtime resident of Baton Rouge. She graduated from Istrouma High School and was employed and retired from Exxon Refinery with 25 years service. She was a member of the Baton Rouge Genealogy Society and researched wrote and published a book on the family lineage, she was a member of Beta Sigma Phi for 55 years and served in many leadership capacities. She was a member of St. Lukes Episcopal Church. She is survived by her grand-daughter Aimee Doiron, two step-children; Judith Entrikin Myers and husband Dennis of Rosharon, Texas and Paul P. Entrikin, Jr. and wife Sandra of Pocatella, Idaho, sister Mary Dykes Goodson of Baton Rouge, 7 step-grandchildren and numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives and loved ones. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 43 years Paul P. Entrikin Sr., parents; Leo James and Maud May Miller Dykes, a daughter; Connie McNeely Doiron, a brother; Leo James Dykes Jr. and sister; Sybil Aliese Dykes McCants. Visitation will be Wednesday, November 13, 2013 at Rabenhorst Funeral Home East 11000 Florida Blvd. starting at 5:00pm until 8:00pm. Visitation will resume at the funeral home Thursday, November 14, 2013 starting at 10:00am with services in the funeral home chapel at 12:00pm with burial to follow in Greenoaks Memorial Park. Special music will be by Rev. Charles McCants, nephew.
