She was a native of Hammond and a resident of Albany who also was a hair dresser for many years. Shirley was a loving mother, grandmother, and great grandmother who will be dearly missed. Shirley leaves behind her daughter, Cindy Erdey; son, Mark Erdey; grandchildren, Brett Morrison, Steven Erdey, Kaitlyn Erdey, Gregory Huls and great granddaughter Hayden Erdey. Preceding Shirley in death were her husband, Julius Erdey; daughter, Anne Erdey; grandson, Nicholas Morrison and is also by her parents, Luther and Lela Faust. Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the religious services from the chapel of Brandon G. Thompson Funeral Home, west of Hammond, on Tuesday, July 10, 2012 at 11:00 a.m. The family requests that visiting hours be observed at the funeral home chapel on Monday, July 9, 2012 from 6:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. and again on Tuesday from 9:00 a.m. until the funeral service time. Bro. Andy Stafford will officiate the services and interment will follow in Hungarian Presbyterian Church Cemetery.
