ESTRADA, CHESTER LYNN JR.
A resident of Watertown, Tenn., he died Friday, Oct. 3, 2003, at Vanderbilt 
University Medical Center, Nashville, Tenn. He was 44 and a native of Magnolia, 
Miss. Graveside service in Pine Hill Cemetery, Arcola, at noon Monday, conducted 
by the Rev. Larry Robertson. Survived by his father, Chester Lynn Estrada Sr., 
Belen, N.M.; a sister and brother-in-law, Cheryl and Jerry Passman, Nashville; a 
stepsister, Marissa Dassel, Nashville; nephews, Christopher Ryals, Amite, Jerry 
Passman Jr., Nashville, Joyce Maloney, Albuquerque, N.M., and John Dassel, 
Nashville; stepgrandmother, Audrey Estrada, North Carolina; and grandmother, 
Mattie Matthews, Denham Springs. Preceded in death by his mother, Rita Estrada; 
grandfather, Bert Matthews; grandmother, Ruth Andrews; stepgrandfather, Andy 
Andrews; and grandfather, Rual Estrada. McKneely Funeral Home, Amite, in charge 
of arrangements.

ESTRADA, RITA M.
A resident of Hammond, she died Friday, Sept. 21, 2001, at Vanderbilt University 
Medical Center, Nashville, Tenn. She was 60 and a native of Mansfield. 
Visitation at McKneely Funeral Home, Amite, from noon Wednesday until religious 
services at 3 p.m. Interment in Pine Hill Cemetery, Arcola. Survived by two 
daughters, Cheryl E. Passman, Amite, and Missy Dassel, Nashville; a son, Chester 
Lynn Estrada Jr., Nashville; two grandsons, Jerry Passman Jr. and Christopher 
Ryals, both of Amite; two grandchildren, Dawn Thatcher and Jamie Thatcher, both 
of Oklahoma; life partner, John Dassel, Nashville; and former husband, Chester 
Lynn Estrada Sr., Amite.
