Age 66 and a lifetime resident of Ponchatoula, Jimmy passed away on Tuesday, July 30, 2013 at his residence surrounded by his loving family. Jimmy was retired from the International Heat and Frost Insulators Local Union #53, after 49 years of dedicated service. During his spare time Jimmy enjoyed gardening as well as making sure holidays were special for his entire family. Jimmy leaves behind his loving wife of 49 years, Wanda West Fabre; daughter, Tammy Fabre Joiner and husband Jeff; sons, James "Jimmy" Fabre, Jr. and wife Deanna, Shannon Fabre, along with his grandchildren, Coty and Meagan Fabre, Jenna Fabre, Brenna and Eric Joiner, Nick and Matt Riggs; great-grandchildren, Jaycie Cutrer, Jake May, Braedyn Olivier and Alivia Fabre.
