Fagan. He married the love of his life, Wanda Mitchell Fagan, on July 8, 1954 and together they had four children. Charles Patrick (Pat) is survived by two daughters and one son and their spouses: Lindaree and spouse Fritz Ory, Charles Patrick (Chuck) Fagan and wife Brenda (B.B.), and Rhonda and spouse Stephen M. Fotiades, Jr. Other survivors include grandchildren: Brandon Ory and wife Katy, Amanda Brendt and spouse Courtney Bonura, Courtney Pettit and spouse, David, Kelly Fagan, Brandi and spouse Cody Harps, Kacie and spouse Ross Whigham, Stephen and Sarah Fotiades, Jared, Colton, and Ryan Quinn, and eight great-grandchildren. Pat also had many loving friends and relatives, especially Mike and Mary Fagan who were very attentive and very special to their "Uncle Pat." He was preceded in death by his wife Wanda Mitchell Fagan, daughter Beth Fagan Quinn, grandson, Freddie Ory, two brothers: J.T. and Frank Fagan, and one infant sister Johnnie Fagan, and his parents. Pat worked in vocational rehabilitation for many years followed by becoming Director of Financial Aid at Southeastern Louisiana University until he retired. Pat was a decorated Korean War veteran who received four medals for distinguished service. Among Pat's greatest traits were honesty, integrity, and dedication. He was a very accomplished dancer and treasured dancing with his lovely wife. He also enjoyed hunting and fishing with his son, Chuck and his sons-in-law. Pat also loved to laugh and delighted in drawing cartoons. The motto that he lived by was, "Live, Laugh and Love." Our lives are richer because of him, and we are blessed to have known him. Visitation will be at Harry McNeely and Son in Hammond on Tuesday, November 25, 2008 from 6 to 9 p.m. and after 8 a.m. on Wednesday. Charlie was a U.S. Army veteran during the Vietnam Era and worked as a mechanic and in construction. The family is so thankful for the support of his fellowship of friends who helped Charlie overcome troubles in his life, and they are very proud of the family bonds that have been strengthened and shared during the last several years. Mr. Fagan recently rekindled his love for painting and his artistic expressions are now adorning the homes of family and friends. Charlie was a caring friend to those who needed it most and forever a loving husband, father, and grandfather. Survived by wife, Mary Paulette Fagan of Independence; daughter and son in law, Patricia and Shane Smith of Franklinton; son and daughter in law, Tony and Beth Fagan of Hammond; four grandchildren, Jacob and Sarah Smith; Charlee and Liza Fagan; mother in law Laura Caruso of Independence; three brothers and a sister. He was preceded in death by his parents, Charles DeRoy Fagan and Edith Jacob Fagan, and father-in-law Anthony Caruso. (BARNEY) Friends and relatives were shocked to hear of the sudden death of Leo C. (Barney) Fagan last Saturday 2 1/2 miles north of Albany. Last rites were held Sunday from the Thomas Funeral Home, with religious services following at Holy Ghost Catholic church, with Father B. A. Arend, Father Malachey Burns and Father Justin Faler, officiating. The two latter from Covington are nephews of Mr. Fagan. Mrs. Fagan was preceded in death by her beloved husband, John Allwin Fagan, and her daughter, Nellwin Fagan Null. Mrs. Fagan is survived by her step-sister, Catherine Rotenberg Trotter, by her daughter, Joan Fagan Landeche and her husband Posey Emile Landeche, and her grandchildren, Deborah Hewitt Roussel, Michael Hewitt, Kimberley Null Vernon and her husband, David Vernon, Kristen Leigh Null, and Wally North. Mrs. Fagan is also survived by her great-grandchildren, Jordan Roussel, Jaiden Casiano, Christian Casiano, Olivia Vernon, and Liam Vernon and her care giver, Elizabeth Hosey. Mrs. Louise Fagan, along with her husband were co-owners of Fagan's Walgreen Agency Pharmacy which was located in downtown Hammond. She was a retired bookkeeper for the Fagan Lumber Co. and also Fagan's Pharmacy which opened in 1945. She will long be remembered for her love of flowers which earned her the title of President of Pine Cone Garden Club. Her beautiful landscaping and her decorations around her home often won her numerous awards and honors. Services for Mrs. Fagan will be held at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, October 25, 2007 at the Funeral Home Chapel of Harry McKneely & Son in Hammond. Visitation will be from 9:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. for the immediate family, and from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. for other family and friends. Mrs. Fagan will then be laid to rest next to her husband and her daughter in the Greenlawn Cemetery in Hammond.
