Lawrence H. Fannaly Jr., 61, of New Orleans, died Tuesday, Feb. 5, 2008, at Ochsner Medical Center. He was born Sept. 3, 1946, in Ponchatoula, son of Lawrence H. and Frances Harden Fannaly. Mr. Fannaly was a U.S. Army veteran of the Vietnam War, a recipient of the Purple Heart and an employee at the U.S. Naval Station Belle Chasse. Surviving are his daughter, Lauren Fannaly Rabalais; son-in-law, Jay Rabalais; son, Lawrence H. Fannaly III; daughter-in-law, Haylee Sartin Fannaly; grandson, Maddox Victor Fannaly; sister, Veronica L. Fannaly; brother, Bernard P. Fannaly; and two stepsons, Kirt Koerin and John B. Smith III. Preceded in death by his wife, Stephony B. Fannaly, and parents. Friends will be received at Harry McKneely & Son Funeral Home, Ponchatoula, on Friday, Feb. 8, from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. and Saturday from 8 a.m. until service in the chapel at 10 a.m. Interment in Ponchatoula Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials to the American Cancer Society. "STEPHI" A resident of New Orleans, she died Sunday, June 25, 2006, at Ochsner Foundation Hospital. She was 54, born on Monday, Feb. 11, 1952, in New Orleans, the daughter of Madge Bigner Billingsley and the late James Billingsley. She is also survived by her husband, Larry Fannaly Jr.; sons, Kirt Koerin, Trey Smith and Larry H. Fannaly III; daughters-in-law, Ann Marie Koerin and Haylee Fannaly; daughter, Laurin Babalais; and grandsons, Colin and Brendan Koerin. Friends will be received at Harry McKneely & Son Funeral Home, Hammond, on Thursday, June 29, from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. Visiting at the funeral home chapel on Friday from 8:30 a.m. until service at 10 a.m., the Rev.
