She was born on Tuesday, November 29, 1921, in Tickfaw, Louisiana daughter of the late Vito and Laura Miceli Noto. She was retired from the Hammond State School and was also the owner of Ann's Cafe. Surviving are 2 brothers, Sam and Victor Noto; 3 sisters, Josephine Drago, Sara Bocage, Lucille Bellivia; 2 children, Ellis V. Cook and Elizabeth Cook Vining; 3 granddaughters and their husbands, Debbie Cook & Vic Ferrara, Anna Cook & Scott Douget and Laura Rousseau & David Terrebonne; 6 grand- children, Carlin Walls, Camille Mocsary, Kelly Cook, Ellis V. Cook Jr., Christine Rousseau and Gerald Rousseau Jr.; 8 great-grandchildren, Victoria Ferrara, Madison Douget, Julian Rousseau, Christian Rousseau, Emily Jones, Eliana Terrebonne, Sammy D. She was born in Hammond, the daughter of the late Joseph and Mary Kalil Farris. She is survived by a brother, Pete Farris, Hammond; and numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great- nephews. She was preceded in death by four brothers, Mike Farris, John Farris, George Farris and Robert Farris; and two sisters, Helen Farris Distefano and Martha Catherine Farris.
