She was 90 and a native of France. Visitation at Harry McKneely & Son Funeral Home, Hammond, from 8:30 a.m. to 10 a.m. Saturday. Religious services at St. Dominic Catholic Church, Husser, at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, conducted by the Rev. McDuffey. Interment in church cemetery. Survived by three daughters and sons-in-law, Jeanne Annette and Carroll Stilley, Loranger, Yvonne and Oscar Bourgoyne, Port Allen, and Linda and Melvin Husser of Husser; two sons and daughters-in-law, Thomas and Linda Lee Faunce and John and Connie Husser Faunce, all of Loranger; a stepdaughter and stepson-in- law, Joyce and Dennis McDonald, Gretna; 21 grandchildren and 18 great-grand- children. Preceded in death by her husband, John Faunce Sr.; a daughter, Elizabeth "Libby" Campbell; an infant son, John Faunce; three grandchildren, John Harvey Husser, Mark Husser and Darnell Faunce; parents, Jean Marie and Marguerite Poulit; and three sisters, Anna Poulit, Jean Naveres and Louise Voiron. The family would like to thank the following for their concern and love for Alexine Faunce: Dr. Sonia Granera, Dr. Jon Jackson, Dr. William Erwin, nurse Michelle LeBlanc and the concerned staffs and friends of St. Clare Manor and Our Lady of the Lake Regional Medical Center.
