Richard Patrick "Pat" Feemster, Sr., a native of Wellington, TX, a longtime resident of Buras, LA and a resident of Ponchatoula, LA since 1990, passed away on Monday, November 15, 2010, at the age of 84. Beloved husband of 63 years to Ringa Cvitanovich Feemster, the love of his life. Loving father of Darlene F. Leach (Ray), Sherri Feemster, and the late Richard P. Feemster, Jr.(Deborah). Grandfather of Joshua Feemster, Lauren Fisher Lane (Nathan), Katherine Feemster, Nicholas Fisher and Susan Fisher. Great-grandfather of Madelyn and Avery Lane. Preceded in death by his parents, James and Gladys Feemster, and his parents-in-law, Peter and Oringa Cvitanovich. As a young man, Pat worked as an oil field driller and in later years retired from Dowell as a tug boat captain. He was a member of Pine Grove Lodge #288 and Nova Stella #36, O.E.S. The family sends a special thanks to Drs. J. Rhea Jones and P. Sebastian Espinosa, and ICU nurses Megan and Sarah, North Oaks Medical Center, Hammond, LA, for their loving and compassionate care.
