FELPS, JOHN NAUL
A native of Baywood and resident of Reserve, he died Wednesday, Oct. 21, 
2009, at River Parishes Hospital in LaPlace. He was 79 and a former 
resident of Kentwood for 16 years. Visitation at McKneely Funeral Home, 
Kentwood, Saturday, Oct. 24, from noon until religious services at 2 p.m., 
conducted by the Rev. Danny Smith. Interment in Woodland Cemetery, Kentwood. 
Survived by three sons, Gary Felps, Rodney Felps and Michael Felps; 
daughter, Sandy Sowers; four sisters, Lilian Peevy, Alma Stearns, Louise 
Croft and Pauline Vick; two brothers, Verlyn Felps and Donald Felps; seven 
grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. Preceded in death by wife, 
Delores G. Felps; two sons, Steven Felps and Ricky Felps; father, Luther 
Felps; mother, Ida Pennington Felps; sister, Betty Rodriguez; and three 
brothers, Sonny Felps, Dale Felps and Sam Felps. For an online guestbook,
