She was 88 and a native of Fernwood, Miss. Visitation at Harry McKneely & Son Funeral Home, Hammond, from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m. Monday and after 8 a.m. Tuesday. Religious services in the funeral home chapel at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, conducted by the Rev. Ricky Willis. Interment in Parklawn Memorial Gardens. Survived by a son, Herman H. Ferrell Jr., Jefferson; four granddaughters, Alyson Ferrell Keller, Mathews, N.C., Heather Lee Ferrell, New Orleans, Kelly Roberts Studenwalt, Port Charlotte, Fla., and Hope Roberts Campbell, Jackson, Miss.; eight great-grandchildren; and two brothers, Roy Barlow, Ponchatoula, and Robert Barlow, Baton Rouge. Preceded in death by her parents, Walter and Agnes Allen Barlow; husband, Herman H. Ferrell Sr.; a daughter, Gaynell Ferrell Roberts; a sister, Mildred B.
