FIELDS, ALICE
Ponchatoula - Alice Fields, 55, died Sunday, Sept. 29, 2002, at her home. She is 
survived by three sisters, Lillie Mae Carter, Mary Lene Milton and Edna B. 
Fields; four brothers, James, Joe, Larry Fields and Walter Fields Jr. The Rev. 
Donnell Henderson will conduct the funeral today at Full Faith Christian 
Fellowship Church, Ponchatoula, at 7 p.m. Dismissal will be Saturday at 10 a.m. 
Burial will be in Holly Gardens Cemetery, Hammond. N.A. James Funeral Home, 
Hammond, is in charge.

FIELDS, CAMELIA VARNADO CARTER 
A seamstress and a native and resident of Hammond, she died at 10:30 a.m.
Friday, July 23, 2004, at her home. She was 54. Visiting at Macedonia
Baptist Church, 910 E. Park Ave., Hammond, from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m. Tuesday.
Religious service at the church at 11 a.m. Wednesday, conducted by the Rev.
Willie Gable Jr. Interment in Holly Gardens Cemetery, Hammond. Survived by
her mother, Elizabeth Davis Varnado; daughter, Courtney Denise Carter; son,
James Lee Carter II; sister, LaNita Varnado Johnson; brother, Tim Varnado;
and two grandchildren, all of Hammond. Preceded in death by her father,
Willie Varnado Sr.; and two brothers, Willie Jr. and Roderic Varnado. N.A.

FIELDS, IRIS DAVIS
Iris "Mae" Davis Fields, 51, died Sunday, July 25, 2004, at North Oaks
Medical Center, Hammond.  She was a member of Full Faith Christian
Fellowship Church in Ponchatoula.  Survivors include two daughters, LaTonia
Cotton of Ponchatoula, and Karen Robinson of Hammond; two sisters, Mattie
Brown of Hammond, and Irma Lloyd of Amite; two brothers, Charles McKay of
Ponchatoula, and Carl Badon of Hammond; and four grandchildren.  Her
parents and three brothers, preceded her in death.  Visitation will be
Friday from 5 to 9 p.m. at N.A. James Funeral Home, Hammond. The Rev.
Donnell Henderson will conduct the funeral service at Full Faith Christian
Fellowship Church Saturday at 1 p.m.  Burial will be at Holly Gardens
Cemetery, Hammond.
