She lived her entire life in the Franklinton area. Many children passed through the doors of "Miss Earline's" daycare and loved her like a mother. "Maw Line," as she was affectionately known by her many grandkids and great- grandkids, spent her life caring for her large family. Earline was a member of First Baptist Church of Franklinton, where she taught Sunday school in the nursery until her children were grown. She then sang in the adult choir and later sang with the Senior Singers. She was a member of the Merry Hearts and traveled often with them. Mrs. Earline and her five daughters, daughters-in-law, granddaughters and sometimes her friends took annual trips to places she had never visited before. She stepped onto holy ground with her God, Lord and Savior at 5:30 p.m. Friday, Feb. 10, 2012, at Slidell Memorial Hospital at 86 years of age. She will be missed by all who knew her, including her good friends and walking buddies. Survived by children and spouses, Dr. Larry Knight and Lynn Knight, of Hammond, Brenda and Larry Lindig, of Baton Rouge, W.E.
