FITZPATRICK, RICHARD L.
A native of San Benito, TX and resident of Holden, Richard passed away on
Tuesday, December 22, 2009 at North Oaks Medical Center at the age of 75.
Although he worked in the oil field most of his life, he loved to fish
during his spare time.  He is survived by his wife of 54 years, Joan
Fitzpatrick; two daughters, Stacey Kirkland, Sherry Steele and husband
Mark; a son, Robert Fitzpatrick and wife Sylvia; grandchildren, Heather
Steele, Jessica Steele, Ryan Fitzpatrick, Kristen Kirkland and Cindy
Kirkland, along with great-grandchildren, Caitlin Steele, Devin Reynolds
and Cypruss Allen.  Richard was preceded in death by his son, Ricky
Fitzpatrick; brother, Jerry Fitzpatrick; parents, Wilbur Alvin and Ruth
Fitzpatrick.  Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the
funeral services from Old Zion Hill Baptist Church, north of Albany, on
Saturday, December 26, 2009 at 11:00 a.m., with visiting hours beginning at
9:00 a.m. Rev. Joe Wiggins will officiate the services and interment will
follow in Old Zion Hill Baptist Church Cemetery.  Condolences and other
