FLUKER, MARY L.
Kentwood - Mary L. Fluker, 71, a native of Bay City, Texas, died Sunday, Aug. 13, 
2000, at Lakeview Regional Medical Center, Covington.  She is survived by three 
daughters, Rosalind Monton, Houston, Patricia Henry and Sabrina Fluker, both of 
Kentwood; one son, Steven Fluker, New Orleans; 16 grandchildren and 20 great-
grandchildren.  She was preceded in death by her husband, two sons, five sisters 
and two brothers.  Visitation will be Friday from 5 to 8 p.m. at Angelic Funeral 
Home, Roseland. The Rev. F. C. Stallworth will conduct the funeral Saturday at 
11 a.m. at Oak Grove AME Church, Kentwood.  Burial will be in Oak Grove Cemetery, 
Kentwood.

FLUKER, ROBERT C. SR.
A retired laborer and a resident of Ponchatoula, he died at 9:01 p.m. Tuesday, 
May 22, 2001, at North Oaks Medical Center, Hammond. He was 58 and a native of 
Baton Rouge. Visiting at Winnfield Funeral Home from 9 a.m. Saturday until 
religious services at 12:30 p.m. Interment in Winnfield Memorial Park. Survived 
by his wife, Anna Mae Fluker, Ponchatoula; a daughter, Gwendolyn Hayes-Taylor, 
Long Beach, Calif.; two sisters, Asalee Braxton and Ida B. Smith, both of Baton 
Rouge; a brother, James A. Fluker, Oakland, Calif.; two grandchildren, Kenya L. 
Hayes, Chicago, and Kiana R. Taylor, Long Beach; a sister-in-law, Nellie Fluker, 
Harvey; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Preceded in 
death by his parents, Sebe Fluker Sr. and Asalee Cosey Fluker; two brothers, 
Sebe Fluker Jr. and Logan Fluker; a sister, Dorothy Scott; and a son, Robert C. 
Fluker Jr. He was a member of True Revival Missionary Church, Marrero.
