Words cannot express the love and adoration Donna had for her husband and her eight children. At age 41, she went to be with her Lord on Monday, December 17, 2007 at North Oaks Medical Center. She was a lifelong resident of Albany and a member of Jerusalem Baptist Church. Her husband, Wayne Flynt, stood by her side during her battle with cancer along with her mother, Linda Traylor Gatlin, both of Albany. Donna was so blessed to have eight precious devoted children, Ashley Nicole Bonds, Christopher Alan Bonds, Bradley Adam Bonds, Stacey Renee Bonds, Jonathon Wayne Flynt, Matthew Troy Flynt, Phillip Ryan Flynt and Chelse Gabrielle Grace Flynt. She is also survived by one sister, Angela Traylor Kinchen of Bokoshe, Oklahoma and her father, Donald Wayne Gill of Albany. Donna was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, Sylvesta and Marie Traylor, father-in-law, Freddie Martin Flynt and her step father-in-law, Troy Davis. Relatives and friends of the family may observe visiting hours from the chapel of Brandon G. Thompson Funeral Home, Thursday, December 20th. from 6:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. Visitation will resume on Friday at Jerusalem Baptist Church beginning at 9:00 a.m. with the funeral service at 11:00 a.m. Rev. Stacy Morgan will conduct the services and Rev. Dan Munson will assist. Interment will follow in the church cemetery.
