FONDREN, ARLENE
Arlene Fondren, 82-years-old of Hammond, La., died Sunday, September 17,
2006, in North Oaks Medical Center.  Arlene was born Saturday, October 6,
1923, in Bolivar, Mississippi.  Surviving are two daughters, Linda Erwin,
Brenda Crocker; sons, Donald, Edward, Byron, Jerry, Thomas and James Knox;
sister, Helen Smith; brother, Harry Roberts; also survived by numerous
grand and great-grandchidren.  She was preceded in death by parents, Gladys
Marie Kilgore Roberts and Harry Lynn Roberts; son, James Fondren; first
husband, Byron Knox Sr.; second husband, James R. Fondren.  Friends will be
received Thursday, September 21 Harry McKneely & Son Funeral Home from 
6:00 until 10:00 p.m. Services will be held in the Funeral Home Chapel ,
Friday, September 22, 2006, at 11:00 a.m.  Interment will follow at Holly
Gardens Cemetery in Hammond.  Email condolences to:
