Foti at 1 p.m. Friday, Jan. 15, 2010, at St. Martin de Tours Catholic Church, St. Martinville. Interment in St. Michael's Cemetery. Mrs. Foti, born in Iberia Parish on Jan. 29, 1912, was a resident of St. Martinville. She passed away at Ollie Steele Burden Manor, Baton Rouge, on Jan. 11, 2010. She owned and operated Irene's Flower Shop for 25 years, was a member of St. Martin de Tours Catholic Church and a lifetime member of the Catholic Daughters of America. Survived by her children, Irene F. Gardemal-Bourque and husband Bobby J. Bourque, Baton Rouge, James T. Foti and wife Betty, New Iberia, and Russell Anne F. Howard and husband Gary Sr., Slidell; grandchildren, Christie F. Hartley, Carrollton, Texas, Bryan J. Foti, Crowley, Jerad F. Gardemal, Denham Springs, Gary H. Howard Jr., Hammond, Stephanie F. Vigé, New Iberia, Gregory F. Howard, Aberdeen, Md.; and nine great-grandchildren. Also survived by her sister, Doris "Dot" B. Dauterieve and husband Larry, New Iberia; brother, Warren J. Breaux, Lafayette; and numerous nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by her husband, Frank F. Foti Jr., D.D.S.; parents, Alexander Dassas Breaux Sr. and Estelle Mouton Breaux; grandson, Jeffrey Micah Gardemal; three sisters and five brothers.
