He was a native of Philadelphia, PA. and a resident of Louisiana since 1971. He lived in Amite for the last 10 years. He is survived by his loving wife of 33 Years, Ruth Ann, daughters: Melissa and husband Robert Martin, of Marrero, LA. Barbara and husband Mark Clark, of Baton Rouge LA.; Stepdaughters: Terry Ann and husband John Leydon of Houston Texas.; Vicki and husband Steven Ersek of Albany LA.; Denise Bruschke of Amite LA.; sister Helen Suber of Philadelphia PA.; brother in law Walter Wilks of Oreland PA,; 3 grand daughters AimeŽ, Nicole and Zo‘, 4 grand sons, Christopher, Sean and Steven and Leo; 1 great granddaughter, Olive and 4 great grand sons, Michael, Hayden , Andrew and Parker. Plus many nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts and uncles. He is preceded in death by: His mother Gertrude Wells, of Monocacy PA, father Emmett Vincent Frizell of Emmetsburg, MD.; his first wife Alice Jo Cannon of Barnesboro NJ; sisters Adelaide and her husband Barry Grahm of Bradenton FL, Olive, Francis, Flora and her husband Walter Wilson of Levittown PA.; Pauline, and her husband William Condiff of Ridley Park, PA.; and Hannah Wilks of Oreland PA.; and brothers Enoch and his wife Catherine of Bradenton FL.; Robert and his wife Kathleen of National Park NJ.; and Richard and his wife Francis of Norwich Conn. Mr. Frizell was a Navy veteran of the Korean War, serving as a Fire Control Technician on Destroyers from June 1951 to June 1956. He retired from federal civil service after 30 years with the Navy Department, including the Phila Navy Yard, and at the Supervisor of Shipbuilding Offices in New Orleans La, and Brooklyn, NY, He retired after 9 years with Source Production and Equipment Company, in Saint Rose LA. He was a member of the American Society for Quality Control.
